When you go to your supermarket’s frozen section you will see a wide variety of hor d'oeuvres to choose from. What are you in the mood for? What do you think your guest would like?
Some you may even want to make from scratch.
We suggest that you can never go wrong with pigs in a blanket. Now if you will be having guests that are vegetarian you can make some for them using Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and Vegetarian Hot Dogs. If you are having guests who can’t have gluten then you can make some hot dogs that don’t have gluten in them and serve them without the crescent roll. Here is how to make it:
1 (8 oz) Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
24 fully cooked cocktail wieners or 8 hot dogs
8 Vegetarian Hot Dogs
8 Gluten Free Hot Dogs
Mustard
Heat oven to 375°F.
Grease cookie sheet.
Unroll dough; separate into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles.
Spread mustard on each triangle.
Place 1 wiener on shortest side of each triangle; roll up to opposite point.
Place, point side down, on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375°F. for 11 to 15 minutes or until deep golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
If you are using hot dogs instead of cocktail wieners after they are cooked you will want to cut them in 4 even pieces.
