Simple Passover Soup for 8
INGREDIENTS
8 teaspoons Vegetable or Chicken Soup Base
1 package Frozen Carrots **
1 package Frozen Broccoli **
1 package Frozen Cauliflower **
1 package Frozen chopped Onions **
8 cups Water
Onion Powder to taste
Garlic Powder to taste
1 Matzo Balls mix
Matzo Farfel
Mandel balls
INSTRUCTIONS
(1.) In a stock pot add water.
(2.) Add soup base.
(3.) Add vegetables.
(4.) Stir the ingredients in the pot.
(5.) Add seasoning if needed.
(6.) On high heat on the stove bring soup to a boil. Lower heat to medium and cover pot. Cook till vegetables are tender. At least 10 minutes.
(7.) Make Matzo Balls according to the instructions on the box.
(8.) Serve soup with Matzo Balls, Matzo Farfel, Mandel Balls.
** NOTE: While some brands of frozen vegetables are kosher they might not be kosher for Passover. If you can’t find then use fresh steamed vegetables.
