Stuffing
1 pound firm white bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
1 cup melted real butter or margarine (no salt added)
½ -1 cup vegetable broth (no salt added) , to moisten
Pam
Spray cookie sheet with Pam. Cut bread into ½ inch cubes and place on cookie sheet. Toast in a 350 degree oven till cubes are brown.
Spray a stock pot with Pam. Place onions in the stock pot and cook until translucent. Then place the celery in pot and season. Add Vegetable broth. Cook until celery is soft.
Combine bread, onion, celery and all seasonings. Add melted butter or margarine. Toss gently to mix. Then add hot broth to moisten to desired consistency (but be careful NOT to make it soggy)
Spray Pam in a casserole dish then place stuffing in a casserole dish.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 35-45 minutes, not letting the top get too crispy.
