Cocktail Party

Since it is the Tony Awards this party can be a little fancier.  You can throw a cocktail party.

You can start with hor d’oerves.  They have a variety to choose from in the frozen section of your supermarket.  We want to suggest Cohen’s brand because most of their products you can serve to your vegetarian guests too.  Have some vegetable egg roll and potato puffs.  They also have cocktail wieners. Now of course your vegetarian guest won’t eat those but if you want to make some for them from scratch it is easy.  All you do is get some vegetarian hot dogs. Cut them in half and wrap them Pillsbury Crescent Rolls.  Then your vegetarian guest have their own cocktail wieners. As for your gluten free guests, you can prepare some gluten free dips and serve them with pita chips.

Next thing you can serve is Salad.  Just get one of your favorite brand of bag salads and a choice of salad dressing.  Can we suggest that one of the choices of salad dressing you serve with is a balsamic vinaigrette or a oil and vinegar for those watching their weight.

While the guests are enjoying their appetizers you can start the grill for the Shisha Kabobs. You can make chicken, beef, meat substitute and just plan veggies.  This is a perfect main course.  It has something for everyone.  You will use one simple marinade for everyone. We found a recipe for the marinade that can be eaten by your guests who have special needs when it comes to food and for those who can eat everything.

First you will grill the ones for the vegetarians because otherwise they won’t eat them.  If you grill them after you make the beef or chicken then they aren’t vegetarian and don’t be offended when your guests don’t eat them.  Just be the good host. Next make the beef or chicken.

For dessert you can serve sherbert or sorbet with different cookies.

There you have the perfect cocktail party.
