MOTHER'S DAY 2018

We want to wish all of you that will be celebrating Mother’s Day this Sunday.  If you made any decisions on what you want to do we might have an idea.  Instead a breakfast meal, why not try either lunch or dinner and a movie. We found a recipe that we think is not only easy to make for Mother’s Day but a great Spring or Summer meal.  For the movie it is a comedy.

The recipe from Manischewitz. It was a 2008 Cook Off Winner by  Greg Fontenot of The Woodlands, TX.  It is Chicken in Balsamic Cherry Sauce. This recipe can also be made for anyone who is vegetarians.  Just switch out the chicken for Gardein’s Chick’n Scallopini. Instead of chicken broth use Manischewitz Vegetable Broth.  You can also serve it with Green Giant Riced Veggies Cauliflower Medley.  It makes a perfect side dish.

The movie you might want to watch is the movie starring Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogan’s The Guilt Trip.  It is  comedy about a Mother and Son on a road trip.

Mother's Day 2016

Happy Mother’s Day to those of you who are mom’s.  We hope you have a nice day where you are celebrated.

For those of you still not sure what you should do for your mom and don’t want to go out to eat then how about making her a nice meal at home.  We have a simple recipe that would be great for either lunch or dinner.  You can make Lemon and Lime Roasted Chicken with Roasted Vegetables. It is very easy to make and satisfies most tastes.

For those of you who are not near your mother’s today make sure to at least call them. This is also a great day to remember the single’s moms or mom’s who children don’t live near them.  If you know someone like that maybe go over and make them a meal today and see if they need some help.  It might make them feel good today.
